    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am going to have a LOT of Fun knitting up this list of 80 Knit Purl Blocks, in a cotton yarn, and then hanging them out, along with soap, in place that I know there are homeless people. I'll also be making blocks in acrylic, as I'm allergic to wool, to sew together to make blankets too :)

    What size needle and how large are the squares?

      It depends on your yarn. You need to use knitting needles that matches the yarn, knit a swatch, and check the gauge.
      Eg: Vanna's Choice Yarn, 16 sts x 22 row = 4in x 4in. To create a square of size 12in x 12in, you need to cast on 48 stitches and knit 66 rows.
