Knit Purl Repeats 04: Jacquard stitch & Hurdle stitch

Jacquard stitch & Hurdle stitch

The Knit Purl Repeats 04 is created by combining the Jacquard stitch and the Hurdle stitch.

The Jacquard stitch features intricate patterns that create a nice texture, reminiscent of the elaborate designs found in jacquard fabric. In contrast, the Hurdle stitch is a simpler pattern that forms a raised texture, akin to the appearance of horizontal fence bars.

Since both The Jacquard stitch and The Hurdle stitch are knit-purl stitches and reversible, the Knit Purl Repeats 04 looks the same on both sides.

Worked flat

Cast on a multiple of 8 stitches plus 1, like 25, 33, and so on.

Knit the Jacquard stitch pattern until you reach your desired length, then transition to the Hurdle stitch pattern. Feel free to alternate between both patterns as you wish. You can adjust the length of each section according to your preference or choose to keep them uniform.
