Symmetry Magic blanket looks like a product made by a knitting machine, but it's knitted by hand. With just a few basic knitting techniques, such as knit, purl, and slip stitch, you can easily create your own blanket. What makes it special is that, regardless of the direction in which it is rotated, the blanket maintains its symmetry and appears unchanged.

If you want to knit a baby blanket the same size as my baby blanket, you'll need worsted-aran weight yarn and the appropriate knitting needles for the yarn. You can choose any two colors you like; however, the best choice is to choose two contrasting colors.
After obtaining the necessary materials, use the bold colored yarn cast on 175 sts (or multiple of 10 sts, +5) to begin the blanket.
(To make the blanket look more beautiful, it is recommended to cast on 160 - 165 sts, then knit 19 rows of border. After that, on row 20, increase the number of sts from 160 to 175 sts).

Cute blanket! How much yarn is required in each color? 200g of each color?
ReplyDeleteYou will need a larger quantity of bold-colored yarn than light-colored yarn.
