Cast on 41 stitches (using crochet cast on if you would like it to match the bind off edge).
Rows 1-6: K41.
Row 7: K8, *p1, k7; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 8: K4, p3, *k1, p1, k1, p5; rep from * to last 10 sts, k1, p1, k1, p3, k4.
Row 9: K6, *p1, k3; rep from * to last 7 sts, p1, k6.
Row 10: K4, p1, *k1, p5, k1, p1; rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 11: K4, *p1, k7; rep from * to last 5 sts, p1, k4.
Row 12: K4, p1, *k1, p5, k1, p1; rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 13: K6, *p1, k3; rep from * to last 7 sts, p1, k6.

    I made a single Chevron cowl and this brocade gives me the "other half." A well written pattern which is lovely in turquoise cotton Premier Home. Thanks!

    This was a fun design! I definitely recommend use a row counter to keep on track.
