Shells on Garter-stitch Background - Wrong side
Material Used
Yarn: Katia baby.
Needle size: 2.25mm.
How to make the Shell stitch
Insert right-hand needle into the front of the stitch 5 rows below the 3rd stitch on the left hand needle, and draw through a long loop; slip this loop onto the right-hand needle, then knit the next stitch) 6 times, taking all 6 loops from the same stitch below.

Multiple of 14 stitches, plus 2.
Knit one row.
Rows 1-6: Color B, knit.
Row 7: Color A, k9, *shell stitch, k8; repeat from * to last 7 sts, shell stitch, k1.
Row 8: Color A, k1, *(p2tog-tbl) 3 times, p1, (p2tog) 3 times, k7; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Rows 9-14: Color B, knit.
Row 15: Color A, k2, *shell stitch, k8; repeat from * to end.
Row 16: Color A, k1, *k7, (p2tog-tbl) 3 times, p1, (p2tog) 3 times; repeat from * to last st, k1.

    At what point or how do you cast on colour B? It is not clear in the video how you attach that colour to begin

      To change colors, simply drop the old yarn and, tie the new yarn around it and start the next row with the new yarn.
